CLINTON, Miss. – The Montevallo Women's Soccer team suffered its first loss of the season on the road at Mississippi College by a score of 6-2 on Sunday.
The Falcons attempted to recover from an early 2-0 deficit in the first half but ultimately were out-shot 24-12 allowing four goals in the second half.
Freshman goalkeeper
Jolie Cazale added nine saves to bring her season total to 13 as she played all 90 minutes of the contest.
Angelina Rivas and
Espy Sanchez scored the pair of goals for the Falcons off penalty kicks in the 60th and 85th minute, respectively.
