MONTEVALLO, Ala. – The University of Montevallo men's soccer team remains unbeaten in 2022 with a 1-0 victory over Christian Brothers at Varsity Field, Friday.
After 62 minutes of scoreless play,
Edorta Cabieces Sanz found the back of the net on an assist from goalkeeper
Salvador Plaza, to give the Falcons a 1-0 advantage.
Plaza went on to make three of his four total saves in the final 27 minutes, helping lead the Falcons to their third win of the year and improve to 2-0 in the GSC.
Montevallo held CBU scoreless for the first time this season in the Falcons' second clean-sheet of the year.
