MONTEVALLO, Ala. – The Montevallo women's soccer team won its third-consecutive conference matchup after topping Auburn Montgomery 1-0 on Friday night.
In a game that remained scoreless for 84 minutes, the Falcons' defense shined allowing just five shots throughout the contest with only three shots on target.
Montevallo fired a season-high 22 shots with 12 shots on goal before
Alea Taube scored a header in the 84th minute from a corner kick by
Avery Campbell.
Emily Hounsell showed a strong performance in goal with three saves and her fourth shutout of the season.
