MONTEVALLO, Ala. – Montevallo women's basketball is set for its home opener on Tuesday morning at 11 a.m. in a matchup with Birmingham-Southern for the Falcons Education Day Game with Montevallo Elementary.

Marisa Snodgrass. A day earlier, the Falcons fell to Embry-Riddle, 74-88, in the 2023 season opener on Nov. 10.

The Panthers hold a 1-2 record in the early part of the season with a 58-51 win over Covenant College in its last outing. BSC began the season with a pair of losses to University of Mobile and Greenville University on Nov. 8 and Nov. 10, respectively. The Panthers boast three athletes with double-digit scoring through three games with Maya Cable (14.0), Sheraton Foster (12.0) and Montana Harris (11.7) eclipsing the 10-point mark. Harris also leads the team with an average of 7.7 boards per game with a total number of 23.
