GULF SHORES, Ala. – Montevallo softball fell in both games of its double header against Saint Leo (5-3) and Lander (7-3) in the NCAA Div. II Gulf Shores Invitational on Saturday, Feb. 4.
In the 5-3 loss to Saint Leo, Montevallo got out to a fast start when
Lauren Higginbotham pounded a two RBI double in the top of the first. The Lions brought the score back to even with runs in the first and second innings and with a Falcon error in fourth, Saint Leo took a 3-2 lead.
