MONTEVALLO, Ala. – The Montevallo men's tennis team pulled out a 5-2 win over Shorter on March 23. 
 
Montevallo started the afternoon with a sweep of the doubles matches to take the first point of the match. Philippe Zehender and Fabrico Sosa took a 6-4 win in the top doubles match while Paul Sobich and Dylan Kamel won 6-3 in the No. 2 slot. Rien Alderliesten and Nick Hartmann rounded out the doubles competition with a 6-1 victory. 
 
Sobich scored the first singles point of the day with a 6-1, 6-2 win in No. 2 singles. Fabricio Sosa and Dylan Kamel secured the winning points with a pair of 6-0, 6-0 wins. Kick Walrave capped the Falcons' victory with a 6-0, 6-1 win in No. 6 singles.
