Falcons Fall to No. 23 AUM

MONTEVALLO, Ala. – The Montevallo men's tennis team fell, 5-2, in a battle with No. 23 Auburn Montgomery on Wednesday afternoon. 
 
The Falcons opened the match on a hot start with a clean sweep of the doubles matches with Philippe Zehender and Fabricio Sosa taking the top match, 6-4. In No. 2 doubles, Dylan Kamel and Paul Sobich won 6-2 before Hick Hartmann and Rien Alderliesten took the final match, 6-4. 
 
Julius Ziebart highlighted Montevallo's singles matches with a 1-6, 6-4, 7-5 win in a tightly contested No. 3 singles match to score the Falcons second point of the match. AUM would take the rest of the singles matches and the team match, 5-2.
