MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Montevallo men's tennis ended its season with a 5-0 loss to second seed West Florida in the first round of the Gulf South Conference Championship. 
 
The Falcons fell in the doubles point with Philippe Zehender and Fabricio Sosa battling in the top singles slot but ultimately falling 6-4. Montevallo's second doubles match ended with a 6-0 UWF win leaving one doubles match unfinished.
 
West Florida went on to win four of the six singles matches to take the team match 5-0. Julius Ziebart struggled against the nation's No. 16 singles player falling 6-0, 6-0. In No. 3 singles, Sosa fell 6-1, 6-1 before Falcon losses in No. 5 and 6 singles ended the match.
