INDIANAPOLIS – The NCAA Division II Baseball selection committee has released its first NCAA Regional rankings of the year with the Falcons mentioned as one of the teams in the mix.
 
The first NCAA South Region rankings of the year feature the Falcons alongside four other Gulf South Conference schools and five teams from the Sunshine State Conference. In the first region rankings, the teams are listed in alphabetical order, not by rankings.
 
Currently, the Falcons boast the No. 3 RPI and have the most in-region wins at 33.
 
In the latest NCBWA South Region Poll the Falcons are No. 4 behind Tampa, Rollins and West Florida.
 
Additionally, UM is ranked No. 23 in the NCBWA Top-25 and No. 8 in the Collegiate Baseball Newspaper Top-30.
