MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Montevallo women's tennis moved to 3-1 on the season with a 6-1 win over Christian Brothers in the first conference match of the season.
The Falcons took the doubles point with duo
Claire Jaramba and
Greta Vagnini taking the No. 2 doubles match 6-0.
Latizia Bojara and
Johanna Kullman secured the first team point of the day with a 6-3 win in the third doubles match.
Jaramba continued a solid performance in her GSC opening match with a 6-2, 6-4 victory in No. 2 singles. Lieselotte Hartlohner took her singles match 60-, 6-4 while Bojara took the No. 4 match 6-4, 6-0 to secure the team victory.
London Breedlove added a 6-1, 6-4 win in No. 5 singles while Kullman battled for a 3-6, 6-1, 6-2 victory in the final match of the day.
Montevallo will continue conference play with a trip to Cleveland, Miss. to take on Delta State on Feb. 24.
