CLEVELAND, Miss. – In the day three prelims of the New South Intercollegiate Swim Conference championships, Montevallo swim added more record-breaking performances to the week.
To begin the day,
Keara McGee set a new school record in the women's 100-yard fly with a time of 56.70 for ninth place.
In the men's 100-yard fly prelims,
Aleksei Kolesnikov placed third with a time of 48.18.
Janek Barczyk finished just behind Kolesnikov in sixth at 49.78.
Beth Balent led the Falcons in the women's 400-yard IM prelims as she swam a time of 4:39.51 for seventh.
In the men's 400-yard IM prelim,
Connor Daigle turned in the fourth-best time at 4:03.20.
The Falcons return to the pool for day three finals beginning at 5p.m., Thursday, Feb. 22.
