BRISTOL, Tenn. – For the fifth time this season, Montevallo women's tennis did not allow a single team point after knocking off King, 7-0, on Wednesday afternoon.
The Falcons took the doubles point with a 6-4 victory from
Claire Jaramba and
Greta Vagnini in the top slot followed by a 6-3 win from
Gabriella De Jesus and
London Breedlove in the second doubles match.
Jaramba added a point with a 6-2, 6-2 win in the top singles match while
Johanna Kullman and De Jesus each won their matches 6-1, 6-1. Finally, Breedlove battled back from a set down to earn a 4-6, 6-3, 6-3 win in No. 2 singles. The No. 5 and No. 6 matches were each won by withdrawal.
Montevallo heads to Athens, Tenn. on March 28 for a match at Tennessee Wesleyan.
