Huntsville, Ala. – Falcons drop second conference game to Alabama Huntsville.
The Falcons looked ready to go at the sound of the first whistle.
Kiley Shea picked up the first draw control of the game. A turnover by both teams led to Montevallo setting up their first goal of the game.
Jenna Piazza picked the Falcons' lone goal of the period, before the Chargers went on a 5-0 run to finish out the first quarter.
The beginning of the second quarter started with another draw control win for Montevallo. This draw led to a shot from Piazza, which was picked back up by the Falcons.
Aleena Edwards got her first goal of the game on a assist from
Chloe Norman at the 13:47 mark in the period. The Chargers went on a 6-0 run to close out the half. The score was 11-2 with the Falcons trailing.
The third quarter started with UAH winning the draw. A turnover by the Chargers led to a successful clear and another goal from Piazza just 1:07 into the second half. UAH picked up a goal before Piazza was able to score on a free-position shot at the 10:57 mark. The Chargers rattled off three more goals before the buzzer sounded. The score at the end of the third quarter was 15-4.
The Falcons won the first draw control of the period, leading to a free-position attempt for Montevallo. The shot was saved by UAH and there wasn't much action around the goal until Edwards was able to put her second goal into the back of the net at the 10:11 mark. The Chargers picked up three quick goals before
Lily Moats grabbed herself a goal with 3:13 remaining. Neither team scored again, making the final score 18-6 in favor of UAH.

st | The Falcons started off with a draw control win. A turnover from both sides led to a successful clear attempt for UM and a goal. Multiple free-position attempts led to the Chargers going on a 5-0 run to end the period.

nd | Much like the first quarter, UM won the first draw. This draw control led to two shots by the Falcons, connecting on the second shot. The Falcons only put up four shots and one goal in the quarter.

rd | UAH picked up the first draw of the second half. A turnover and successful clear led to Montevallo's third goal of the game. There were back and forth goals between the Chargers and Piazza before UAH scored three.

th | Montevallo won the first draw control of the period. A free-position shot by UM was saved, before the Falcons ultimately ended up with the ball, and scored the first goal of the period. The Chargers put three more goals on the board before the Falcons picked up their last goal of the game.
