ARKADELPHIA, Ar. – The University of Montevallo men's and women's swimming teams complete their road trip in Arkadelphia on Thursday, Jan. 16 inside the Wells Natatorium. The women narrowly lost to Henderson State 85.5-107.5 while the men fell 29.5-170.5.
 
Alexandria Morgan shined as she came away with the ninth fastest time in program history in the 1650 free with a time of 18:32.99. Morgan came in second for the event.
 
NOTABLE PERFORMANCES

• The team of Petra Cajkas, Hanna Persson, Keara McGee and Cypris Wilkinson won first in the 200 medley relay with a time of 1:52.93.
• Keara McGee came in first for Montevallo in the 100 fly with a time of 1:00.38. Xena Zanders was right behind her in second with a time of 1:05.63.
• Hanna Persson tied for first in the 100 breast with a time of 1:11.63.
• Petra Cajkas and Maja Krawczyk came in second and third in the 100 back with times of 1:01.14 and 1:02.79, respectively.
• Stella Newton came in second in the 400 IM with a time of 4:59.95.
• The tandem of Tabitha Nalepa, Alexandria Morgan, Xena Zanders and Maja Krawczyk combined for a second-place time of 1:44.36 in the 200 free relay.

The Falcons will gear back up for their final meet of the regular season as they take on Sewanee in the Fowler Center Natatorium. The meet is scheduled for 11:00 a.m.
