MONTEVALLO, Ala. -  The University of Montevallo Natatorium has been named the Lewis-Rudakas Natatorium, as announced by the athletic department, Friday.
 
On Thursday, Jan. 16, a dedication ceremony was held to honor Brian Lewis, Jason Rudakas and their families, as newly renamed Lewis-Rudakas Natatorium was unveiled.
 
"We are grateful to the Lewis and Rudakas families for their generous contribution to the university and the athletic department," said Vice President for Athletics and Special Programs Mark Richard. "Our athletic department and student-athletes will greatly benefit from their generosity."
 
With their philanthropic contribution, a scholarship endowment has been set up in the names of Lewis and Rudakas to assist with athletics scholarships.
 
Rudakas and Lewis co-founded Yellowhammer Energy Solutions in 2014. The pair both competed as student-athletes in college. Rudakas played basketball for Eckerd College while Lewis was on the men's swimming and diving team at Western Kentucky.
