MONTEVALLO, Ala. – The University of Montevallo men's and women's swimming teams both fall to Delta State on Saturday, Jan. 4.
The Falcons came away with four first-place victories and a top-10 time in program history in the 200 free relay.
NOTABLE PERFORMANCES
- Alexander Kim picked up the first win for the Falcons as he swam a 47.76 in the 100 free.
- Ethan Brewer was dominant in the 500 free as he came away with first with a time of 4:55.45. Brewer was over 10 seconds quicker than the second-place finisher.
- Keara McGee took first place in the 100 fly with a time of 1:00.11.
- Aleksei Kolesnikov followed McGee up in the fly as he won the men's 100 fly with a time of 52.68.
- The team of Alexander Kim, Aleksei Kolesnikov, Jimmy Franck and Enrique Llorens swam the ninth fastest 200 free relay in UM history with a time of 1:27.64.

The Falcons will next compete against Henderson State on Friday, Jan. 10. The meet will take place in the Wells Natatorium.
