MONTEVALLO, Ala. – The Montevallo men's soccer team hits the road to face in-state foe, Auburn Montgomery on Friday evening.

OFFICIAL SCHEDULE

Montevallo enters the week with a 4-2-5 overall record and a 3-0-3 mark in GSC play. The Falcons earned four points last week with a 4-0 win over Spring Hill followed by a scoreless draw against No. 21 West Florida. A trio of Falcons were recognized by the Gulf South Conference this past week, as Dominic Kienzle won Player of the Week after recording a brace and an assist; Andre Etcheverry recorded a pair of clean sheets to be named Goalkeeper of the Week; and Tomas Prieto recorded a goal and assist to be named Freshman of the Week.

On the season, Kienzle leads the GSC and is tied for a nation leading ten total goals. The junior also leads the conference in points (22) and game winners (four). Etcheverry has been stout in goal through conference play, recording 24 saves and allowing four goals in six GSC contests. The Falcon keeper has recorded three consecutive clean sheets to help Montevallo stay unbeaten in league play.

AUM enters the week with a 5-3-3 overall record and a 2-2-2 mark in GSC play. The Warhawks split a pair of home contests last week, falling to No. 21 West Florida 1-0 and defeating Spring Hill 4-0. Benjamin Hoffmann and Sean O'Donnell share a team leading-six goals, while Hoffmann holds the team lead in points with 14. Matteo Maccagni (3-1-3) has recorded 16 saves and seven goals against, while Brock Marlow (2-1-0) has five saves and one goal against.

Kickoff at the AUM Soccer Complex is set for 7:00 p.m. CST in Montgomery, Ala.
