MONTEVALLO, Ala. – The University of Montevallo men's and women's swimming teams return to action this Saturday when they compete in the Emmanuel Fall Invite in Franklin Springs, Ga. The Falcons are set to face host Emmanuel along with Berry, Converse, and Brenau.

UM opened its season last weekend at the Sewanee Relays, where both teams placed third. Sophomore Alexandria Morgan highlighted the women's performance with a B-cut time of 5:03.35 in the 500-yard freestyle, while freshman Denis Popov made an impressive Falcon debut on the men's side with three podium finishes.

The Falcons also competed at Emmanuel early last season, taking on Berry, Converse, and the Lions. The Montevallo men defeated Berry 141-121 before falling to Emmanuel and Converse, while the women's team earned wins over Berry and Converse but came up short against Emmanuel.

Competition is scheduled to begin at 10:00 a.m. CT.
