MONTEVALLO, Ala. – The Montevallo volleyball team hits the road for a pair of Gulf South Conference matchups this weekend in Tennessee. The Falcons open play at Lee on Friday at 5:00 p.m. before heading to Nashville for a Saturday showdown at Trevecca, set for 3:00 p.m.

Montevallo looks to bounce back after a 3-1 setback to UAH on Tuesday, which snapped a five-match conference winning streak. The Falcons currently sit sixth in the GSC standings with nine matches remaining on the regular season slate.
Lee (11-10, 7-5 GSC) enters the weekend coming off a four-set victory over Union on Tuesday. The Falcons defeated the Lady Flames 3-1 earlier this season on Sept. 27. Lee's offense is powered by Sophia Lippert (154 kills) and Jasmine Terry (149 kills), with setters Berra Soyler (278 assists) and Sydney Sharpe (277 assists) sharing the distribution duties. Defensively, Izzy Denton anchors the back row with 310 digs, while Esthefany Rabit leads the team in blocks with 84.0 total.
Trevecca (16-5, 10-2 GSC) rides a 3-2 win over CBU into the weekend. The Trojans earned a four-set victory against Montevallo in their first meeting this season. TNU is led by GSC kills leader Addison Cunnagin (269 kills) and the league's top setter Skias Hainline (790 assists). Lily Vanbebber headlines the defense with 372 digs, while Alabama native Katilyn Grant has added 239 kills and 65.0 total blocks.
