GREENWOOD, Ind. – The College Sports Communicators (CSC) named its Division II Men's Soccer Academic All-District team, with Seth Acton, Andre Etcheverry, and Will Mashburn being named to the list.

Acton picks up this honor after posting a 3.96 cumulative GPA in pursuit of a Management degree. On the field, Acton was solid all season as one of Montevallo's key defenders. The Birmingham, Ala., native totaled 1194 minutes and helped Montevallo secure five clean sheets. The senior defender closed the season tying for a team leading-three assists, while ranking second in goals (four) and total points (11). Acton scored a game winning goal in the final minute to lift Montevallo to a 1-0 win over Christian Brothers earlier this season.
Etcheverry receives academic recognition after posting a 3.75 cumulative GPA in pursuit of an Exercise and Nutrition Science degree. The Parrish, Fla., native was solid in goal all season for Montevallo, securing five clean sheets, with two of those coming against ranked opponents (No. 4 Anderson, No. 21 West Florida). Etcheverry recorded 66 saves and faced 218 shots total.
Mashburn picks up this honor after posting a 3.62 cumulative GPA in pursuit of an Exercise and Nutrition Science degree. Mashburn was solid all season as one of Montevallo's key defenders and totaled the third most minutes on the team with 1495 minutes of action. The Cumming, Ga., native helped Montevallo secure five clean sheets on the season. Mashburn opened the season, scoring the equalizer in the final minute at Francis Marion.
The Montevallo men's soccer team closed the 2025 season in the Gulf South Conference Quarterfinals.
