MONTEVALLO, Ala. – The Montevallo volleyball team looks to extend its Gulf South Conference winning streak to three matches on Wednesday night when it hosts Mississippi College inside Central State Bank Arena. First serve is set for 6:00 p.m.
The Falcons are coming off their most impressive performance of the season, a 3-1 victory over then-No. 16 West Florida on Saturday afternoon. The win marked Montevallo's second ranked victory in as many seasons and its first over the Argonauts since 2003. Danielle Greene led the way with a team-high 12 kills and 6.0 blocks in the win.
Mississippi College enters Wednesday's pivotal GSC matchup with a 9-16 overall record and a 6-9 mark in conference play after falling to Lee and Trevecca over the weekend. Junior outside hitter Mary Grace Foster leads the Choctaws with 260 kills, while Reece Regner directs the offense with 469 assists. On defense, libero Samarin Kipple anchors the back row with 476 digs, and middle blocker Rhaia Davey paces the team at the net with 56.0 total blocks.

- With five matches remaining, Montevallo (8-7 GSC) currently sits in sixth place in the conference standings, one spot ahead of Mississippi College (6-9 GSC).
- The Falcons are looking to even the regular season series after dropping the first meeting in Clinton on Sept. 30.
