MONTEVALLO, Ala. – The Montevallo volleyball team hits the road this weekend for a pair of GSC matchups in Tennessee. The Falcons will open play at Christian Brothers on Friday at 6:00 p.m. before closing the weekend against Union on Saturday at 2:00 p.m.

Montevallo looks to bounce back after a narrow 3-2 setback to Mississippi College on Wednesday night. Despite the loss, sophomore Katie Wilkerson powered the Falcons' attack with a career-high 18 kills. With four matches remaining, Montevallo currently sits sixth in the conference standings.
CBU (10-16, 5-10 GSC) enters the weekend on the heels of two straight wins. Ella Schumacher leads the Lady Bucs with 266 kills, while Carleiny Morillo directs the offense with 488 assists. Defensively, Sophia Nowacki has totaled 362 digs, and Sarah Helms paces the team at the net with 60.0 total blocks.
Union (5-18, 3-13 GSC) is led offensively by Elizabeth Gilbert, who has recorded 216 kills this season. Kylie Creech runs the offense with 334 assists, while Marie Torosian leads the Lady Bulldogs with 252 digs. At the net, Natalie Supine anchors the defense with 58.0 blocks.
