MONTEVALLO, Ala. – The Montevallo men's and women's swimming teams return to Lewis-Rudakas Natatorium on Saturday to host Berry in the annual Sea of Purple meet. Competition begins at 11:00 a.m.
The Falcons opened their home slate a couple of weekends ago against UT Southern, with the men earning a 121-71 win and the women cruising to a 143-24 victory. While the men were off last weekend, the women competed in a tri-meet at No. 7 West Florida and UTRGV in Pensacola.
Senior Keara McGee turned in a standout performance in her home state, recording two first-place finishes with both times ranking in the top-10 in program history. She also contributed to the 400-yard freestyle relay team that posted UM's tenth-fastest time in school history.
Montevallo and Berry have already faced off this season at the Emmanuel Fall Invite, where the Falcons swept the Vikings. The men prevailed 133-128, while the women claimed a 162-90 victory.
