KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The United Soccer Coaches announced its 2025 All-South Region team this week, with Dominic Kienzle and Sebastian Flores garnering second team honors.
Kienzle continues to garner postseason recognition, after receiving Gulf South First Team All-Conference and D2CCA Second Team All-South Region honors. The Kaarst, Germany native is the first Falcon to score double digit goals since 2017, as he totaled 11 goals which led the GSC at the end of the regular season. Kienzle also notched three assists to bring his point total to 25 which ranked third overall in the conference. Kienzle came up clutch for the Falcons multiple times, scoring four game winners which was tied for first in the GSC. Kienzle recorded three multi-goal performances, earning a hat trick against Trevecca and braces against Mars Hill and Spring Hill.
Flores has been solid all season, as one of Montevallo's key defenders. The San Jose, Costa Rica native has tallied the second most minutes on team and has helped Montevallo secure five clean sheets. The defender has also recorded one goal, one assist, and eight shots with three being on goal. His lone goal of the season was huge, as it sealed a 1-1 draw at Union.
