MONTEVALLO, Ala. – Montevallo women's lacrosse slips to 1-3 on the season after a 21-4 loss to Embry-Riddle on Sunday afternoon.
The Eagles used an early 3-0 run to take a three-goal advantage in the first seven minutes of action. With 12:35 on the clock,
Marin Lewis stopped her first ERAU shot of the day. Montevallo's
Asha Jamieson tallied her first goal of the 2025 season on a free position attempt that cut the lead down to 3-1 with 7:24 left in the first. ERAU went on to score six unanswered goals to take a 9-1 lead into the second.
Isabel Dillehay tallied her first save of the day with 13:07 left in the half but four more goals from the Eagles left the Falcons in 13-1 hole with 7:04 to go before the break. Jamieson scored the Falcons' second goal of the game with just 2:28 to play before ERAU scored to take a 14-2 lead into the break.
Lewis tallied her third save of the day at the 9:12 mark of the third. With 7:52 in the third,
Kiley Shea got on the board with Montevallo's first goal of the second half before the Eagles scored a trio of unanswered goals to take an 18-3 advantage into the fourth.
Dillehay opened the fourth with a third save before Shea's second goal of the afternoon cut the lead down to 18-4. The Eagles added a pair of goals to push the lead out to 20-4 with 4:43 left to play before Dillehay set a career-high with four saves with a stop in the final minute of action. The Eagles scored on the final possession of the game to take a 21-4 win over the Falcons.
