Falcons Wrap Up Run at 2025 National Championships, Kolesnikov Receives All-American Status

INDIANAPOLIS, IN - The University of Montevallo men's and women's swimming's Aleksei Kolesnikov and Keara McGee end their runs at the 2025 NCAA National Championships on Saturday, Mar. 15.

In the 100 free, Keara McGee had an impressive run where she dropped .26 off her entry time of 51.94. McGee swam the first 50 meters in 24.78 and the second in 26.90. Her historic 2024-25 season comes to a close as she is Montevallo women's swimming's first swimmer to make it to the national stage. 

Aleksei Kolesnikov finishes his junior season as an All-American that he earned in the 100 fly. Kolesnikov swam a 44.90 in the 100 free as he had splits of 21.18 and 23.72. The men's swimming team will record their most total points in program history as Aleksei Kolesnikov earned 14 team points for a 31st place finish.
