MONTEVALLO, Ala. - The Montevallo Women's Tennis delivered an impressive performance against Christian Brothers, securing a 6-1 victory at home.
The Falcons swept the doubles matches, with Johanna Kullman and Greta Vagnini taking a commanding 6-0 win at the No. 1 spot, while Klara Podskubkova and Claire Jaramba battled to a 7-5 victory at No. 2. Elena Ondobo and Latizia Bojara sealed the doubles sweep with a 6-2 win at No. 3.
In singles, Montevallo continued to dominate, winning five of six matches. Ondobo cruised to a 6-2, 6-2 victory at No. 2, while Jaramba secured a 6-4, 6-4 win at No. 3. Kullman came through in a tight three-set match at No. 4, edging out her opponent 6-4, 2-6, 7-5. Vagnini battled to a 6-3 win in the second set to clinch her match at No. 5, and London Breedlove shut out her opponent 6-0, 6-0 at No. 6. Christian Brothers' lone victory came at No. 1 singles, where Sofia Zemtsova defeated Podskubkova5-7, 4-6.
With this strong showing, Montevallo continues to build momentum as they look ahead to their next matchup.
