Montevallo collected 16 points in the poll, landing just behind Converse (19) and defending champion Emmanuel, who secured 25 points and five first-place votes. King (13), Barton (10), and Chowan (7) rounded out the preseason order.
Leading the way for the Falcons are Aleksei Kolesnikov, Xoel Parcero Areoso, and Edu Elizaran Galan, who were each named to the Players to Watch list.
Kolesnikov returns after a record-breaking 2024-25 campaign that culminated in NCAA All-American honors as a junior. Parcero Areoso, a freshman from Santiago de Compostela, Spain, looks to make an immediate impact in his first season. Elizaran Galan joins the Falcons after transferring from King, where he earned four All-Conference Carolinas awards as a freshman last year.
Montevallo will open its 2025-26 season on Oct. 11 at the Sewanee Relays in Tennessee.
