MONTEVALLO, Ala. – The Montevallo volleyball team is set to open its home schedule with a pair of Gulf South Conference matchups inside Central State Bank Arena. The Falcons host Trevecca Nazarene on Friday at 6 p.m. before closing the weekend against Lee on Saturday at 2 p.m.

Montevallo enters the weekend at 3-7 overall and 0-1 in league play after a hard-fought setback Tuesday at West Alabama. Senior middle blocker
Danielle Greene continues to pace the Falcons, leading the GSC with 49.0 total blocks, including a career-best 10.0 against UWA. Greene also ranks third in the conference with a .348 hitting percentage.
Trevecca (7-3, 1-0 GSC) comes to Montevallo following a straight-set win over Union on Tuesday. The Trojans are led offensively by Addison Cunnagin with 119 kills, while setter Skias Hainline has distributed 344 assists. At the net, Katilyn Grant leads with 34.0 blocks, and libero Lily Vanbebber anchors the defense with 152 digs.
Lee (5-5, 1-0 GSC) visits following a five-set win over Christian Brothers on Tuesday. The Flames face UAH Friday before traveling to Montevallo. All-GSC preseason pick Payton Danley leads Lee with 82 kills, while Sydney Sharpe, Madison Dahl, and Berra Soyler have each surpassed 100 assists. At the net, Esthefany Rabit leads with 35.0 blocks.
