Dominic Kienzle and Volleyball's
Mallory Hulsey have been named Montevallo Players of the Week Presented by Jack's for the week of Sept. 29

Dominic Kienzle (Men's Soccer)
Junior forward
Dominic Kienzle, from Kaarst, Germany, delivered a historic performance to lead Montevallo to their first Gulf South Conference win of the season. Kienzle recorded a hat trick in the Falcons' 3-2 comeback victory over Trevecca Nazarene, becoming the first Falcon to accomplish this since 2019.
Kienzle scored in the 59
th minute, converted a penalty kick to level the match again at 2-2 in the 81
st minute, and netted the game winner in the 88
th minute to seal the road win. His clutch performance powered the Falcons to victory and solidified his status as one of the top attacking threats in the conference.
Mallory Hulsey (Volleyball)
Freshman outside hitter
Mallory Hulsey, from Rome, Ga., continued her standout debut season by leading the Falcons with 15 kills in back-to-back matches. Hulsey helped Montevallo secure its first Gulf South Conference win of the year with a four-set victory over Lee on Saturday.
Hulsey registered several key kills to help the Falcons take the opening set. She came up big again in the pivotal second set, securing two more kills in the closing points. Her consistency and offensive firepower helped Montevallo close out the match in the fourth set. Even in Friday's tough loss, Hulsey led the team with 15 kills and keeping the Falcons competitive throughout the match.
