Ciara Duff have been named Montevallo Players of the Week presented by Jacks for the week of September 8
th.
Dominic Kienzle (Men's Soccer)

Dominic Kienzle turned in a career-best performance, recording five points with two goals and one assist in a high-scoring contest for the Falcons. After
Seth Acton delivered an assist, Kienzle netted his first goal in the 51st minute to cut the deficit to 2-1. He struck again in the 67th minute, this time off a pass from
Sebastian Flores, tying the match at 2-2. Just minutes later, Kienzle assisted
Dakota Hart on his first career goal as a Falcon in the 70th minute, putting Montevallo ahead at 3-2.

In her Montevallo debut, junior goalkeeper
Ciara Duff made an immediate impact, recording five saves to secure her first clean sheet as a Falcon. Duff set the tone early, stopping a pair of shots on goal in the opening two minutes, then adding a third save in the eighth minute to keep the match scoreless. She continued to anchor the defense in the second half, making two more crucial saves to preserve Montevallo's lead. Duff's performance was key to securing the shutout and starting the 2025 season on a high note.
