GREENVILLE, S.C. – The Conference Carolinas announced its 2026 Preseason Poll on Wednesday, with Montevallo voted to finish fifth ahead of its first season in the league and second season overall. A trio of Falcons were also named on the Conference Carolinas Players to Watch list.

Montevallo captured the fifth-place spot after earning 49 points in the preseason voting, trailing fourth-place Wingate (63). Lander earned 75 points and five first place votes to take the top spot in the poll, while Coker followed behind with 68 points and Mars Hill rounded out the top three with 64 points.

A trio of Falcons were named to the Conference Carolinas Players to Watch list, including Lexie Cole (So., Tumbler/Top, Fort Myers, Fla.), Rilyn McAllister (So., Base/Tumbler, Alexandria, Va.), and Katie Quinn (So., Tumbler/Top, Bend, Ore.).

Montevallo opens the season on Thursday, Feb. 12, as the Falcons host Saint Leo.
