MONTEVALLO, Ala. – University of Montevallo Acrobatics & Tumbling Head Coach Kati Horstmann has resigned from her position at the helm of the program.

Horstmann was named head coach in the summer of 2023 where she built the Montevallo Acrobatics & Tumbling before its inaugural season in the spring of 2025. Over the first two years of the program, Horstmann tallied a 9-9 overall record. Horstmann was named 2026 Conference Carolinas Coach of the Year after leading the Falcons to a third-place conference finish in Montevallo's first year in the league.

The University of Montevallo Athletics Department will now open a nationwide search for the next Head Acrobatics & Tumbling Coach effective immediately.
