MONTEVALLO, Ala. – The Montevallo women's basketball heads to Montgomery, Ala., this weekend for a road contest against Auburn Montgomery on Saturday.
Montevallo holds an overall record of 4-18 and a 3-14 mark in Gulf South Conference play. Last time out, the Falcons captured a, 68-59, victory over Christian Brothers, on Feb. 7. Against the Lady Bucs, three Falcons reached double figures in Kylee Norman (14), Elyse Hughes (13), and Emily Mouser (13).
On the season, Montevallo averages 55.3 points, while shooting 36.4-percent from the floor and 28.9-percent from distance. Emily Mouser leads the team in scoring (11.7 ppg) and assists (62), Elyse Hughes leads the team in rebounding (5.4 rpg) and field goal percentage (.429), and Kylee Norman leads the team in steals (25) and three-point field goal percentage (.387).
AUM enters the game with a 3-20 overall record and 3-14 mark in GSC play. Last time out, the Warhawks fell to Union, 84-66, on Feb. 7. AUM averages 58.9 points, while shooting 35.1-percent from the floor and 27.3-percent from long range. Samya Brooks leads the team in scoring (14.3 ppg) and field goal percentage (.405), while Neveah Small leads the team in rebounding (9.0 rpg) and blocks (18). Tamora Brown holds team leads in assists (50) and steals (47).
