GREENVILLE, S.C. – The Conference Carolinas released its first set of weekly awards on Tuesday afternoon, as Lexie Cole was named Specialist of the Week.
The Fort Myers, Fla., earned this award after producing many strong contributions in the Acro Event.
Cole most notably contributed to the first perfect score in school history. Cole along with her teammates, Rilyn McAllister and Alesandra Vega, achieved that perfect 10.00 score in the Five Element Acro against Mars Hill.
Cole also helped produce scores of 8.00 in the Five Element Acro and a 9.20 in the Seven Element Acro in Montevallo's season opener against Saint Leo, while contributing to a 8.15 in the Seven Element Acro in the Mars Hill meet.
Cole and the Falcons captured the first Conference Carolinas win in program history on Saturday, as Montevallo defeated Mars Hill 251.990-238.480.
Montevallo Acrobatics & Tumbling returns to action on Saturday, Mar. 14, for the last home meet of the season against No. 14 Lander.
