TEMPE, Ariz. – Montevallo women's tennis player Klara Podskubkova and the men's doubles team of Simon Luigs and Guilherme Gracioli earned spots in the latest ITA rankings. Podskubkova enters the singles rankings at No. 57, while Luigs and Gracioli made a significant leap in the doubles rankings, jumping from No. 47 to No. 21 following a ranked victory over then-No. 22 Rafael Sabio and Goncalo Quintela of West Florida.
Podskubkova also secured a ranked win, defeating West Florida's No. 4 Carlota Verdu in a three-set battle, 7-5, 1-6, 6-2, at the No. 1 singles position. She currently holds a 2-1 singles record this season with ranked victories over Verdu and NAIA No. 24 Olivia Alcala.
Luigs and Gracioli, now ranked inside the Top 25, are 2-2 this season at the No. 3 doubles position and have accumulated 17.81 ITA points.

The Falcons return to action this weekend with a road matchup against UT Southern on Friday afternoon in Pulaski, Tenn., before returning home for Senior Day on Saturday against Spring Hill.
