MONTEVALLO, Ala. – Montevallo Acrobatics & Tumbling hosted its final home meet of the season, as the Falcons fell to No. 14 Lander (252.765-233.540) inside of Central State Bank Arena on Saturday.

Montevallo opened the meet strong, as scores of 9.65 in the Pyramid Heat and 9.40 in the Toss Heat helped the Falcons outscore the Bearcats 35.75-35.45 in the Compulsory Event.

The Falcons highest score in the Acro Event came in the Seven Element, where Lexie Cole, Rilyn McAllister, Ally Torres, and Morgan Wright recorded a score of 9.20. Lander performed well in all three heats, as the Bearcats outscored Montevallo 27.80-25.40 in the Acro Event.

Montevallo performed well in the Inversion Pyramid and the Open Pyramid, earning identical scores of 9.60. The Bearcats ultimately outscored the Falcons 27.65-24.40 in the Pyramid Heat.

Lander got off to a hot start in the Toss Event, finishing with a score of 27.00, while Montevallo recorded a 25.45.

Montevallo saw its best scores in the Tumbling Event come in the Open Pass and Trio Pass. Ally Torres recorded an 8.475 in the Open Pass, while Rilyn McAllister, Ally Torres, and Morgan Wright combined to record a score of 7.850 in the Trio Pass. Montevallo finished with an overall score of 45.450 in the Tumbling Event, while Lander finished with a score of 52.325.

In the Team Event, Montevallo recorded a 77.09, while Lander finished with a score of 82.54.
