MONTEVALLO, Ala. - Montevallo Men's Basketball Head Coach Zac Richards has announced the addition of former Falcon standout Cam Glover to the coaching staff as Montevallo's newest Men's Basketball Assistant Coach. 

Glover's professional career began as a basketball trainer, coach, and youth development professional with extensive experience working with young athletes across camps, AAU programs, and individualized training settings. Since 2020, he has helped players improve their basketball skills through coaching, instruction, and mentorship, leading skill-development sessions for athletes ranging from elementary-age children to high school players. Most recently serving as a Personal Basketball Trainer in Birmingham, Alabama, Cam provided individualized training focused on player development, fundamentals, and skill progression. He has also spent four years as a Camp Instructor with Elite Hoops Basketball, where he coordinated camp activities and led both on-court and classroom-based learning experiences for athletes ages 8–15.

As a collegiate athlete, Glover played for The Citadel in his senior season where he appeared in 30 games for an average of 20.3 minutes per game while also averaging 7.7 points per game on a 36.8-percent mark from the floor while shooting 82-percent from the stripe. Glover's season at the Citadel also saw a total of 52 rebounds, 29 assists and 17 steals.

Prior to his senior season, Glover was a member of the 2023-24 Montevallo squad where he appeared in 26 games with 24 starts. In his season on the bricks, Glover posted an average of 15.7 points per game on a 39.1-percent clip from the floor while shooting 37.6-percent from deep. The Trussville, Ala native also totalled 77 assists and 72 rebounds during the 2023-24 campaign which also featured 22 double-digit scoring efforts that included a team-high 28 points in Montevallo's meeting with Shorter on Dec. 1, 2023. 

Glover began his collegiate career with three seasons at Birmingham-Southern where he appeared in 57 games with 40 starts while averaging 12.9 points, 2.6 assists and 2.5 rebounds per game. At BSC, Glover was twice named SAA Academic Honor Roll, SAA All-Conference selection in 2021 and 2022 while also earning a 2023 SAA All-Tournament Team selection in his final year. 

Glover graduated from Hewitt-Trussville high school where he was a two-time All-Area selection, a two-time All-Brimingham Honorable Mention, a two-time Cahaba Sun All-South Metro selection and a member of the 1,000-point club as well as a member of the National Honor Society. 

Glover graduated Manga Cum Laude and earned his Business Management degree from The Citadel in May of 2025 with a 3.8 GPA and will begin his collegiate coaching career with the Falcons for the 2026-27 season.
