MONTEVALLO, Ala. – Montevallo Volleyball has announced its 2026 schedule, featuring 30 regular-season matches, three early-season tournaments, and 18 Gulf South Conference contests.

The Falcons will begin preparations for the season with an exhibition match at Central State Bank Arena against Huntingdon on Tuesday, Aug. 25, before officially opening the regular season at the McKendree Invitational in Lebanon, Illinois, on Aug. 28-29. Montevallo opens the tournament against Ouachita Baptist and Harding on Friday before facing host McKendree and Maryville on Saturday.

Montevallo continues its season-opening road swing the following weekend at the USC Aiken Invitational in Aiken, South Carolina. The Falcons take on Lander on Sept. 4 before facing North Greenville on Sept. 5. The non-conference slate rolls on Sept. 11-12 at the GSC/PBC Crossover in Clinton, Mississippi. Montevallo opens the event against Augusta before meeting Flagler later that day, then wraps up tournament play against USC Aiken on Sept. 12.

GSC play begins with a four-match road stretch. The Falcons open league action at Union on Sept. 18 before visiting Christian Brothers on Sept. 19, Lee on Sept. 22, and UAH on Sept. 25. Montevallo closes the month with a non-conference matchup at Shorter on Sept. 29.

The Falcons make their regular season home debut on Oct. 2 against West Alabama before hosting Mississippi Christian the following day.

After road conference matches at Trevecca, Valdosta State and Auburn Montgomery, Montevallo returns home for its longest homestand of the season. The six-match stretch begins with Lee on Oct. 13 and Spring Hill on Oct. 15 before consecutive conference home matches against Christian Brothers (Oct. 16), Union (Oct. 17), UAH (Oct. 22), and Trevecca (Oct. 27).

Montevallo closes the regular season with road contests at Mississippi Christian on Oct. 30 and West Alabama on Nov. 1 before returning home for the final weekend. The Falcons host Auburn Montgomery on Nov. 6 before concluding the regular season against Valdosta State on Nov. 7.

The GSC Tournament is scheduled for Nov. 10-15, with the NCAA Tournament set to begin Nov. 19.
