HARROGATE, Tenn. – Montevallo men's soccer dropped a road matchup with Lincoln Memorial, 3-1, on Tuesday afternoon.
LMU got out to an early lead with the first goal of the game coming in the first minute to leave UM in a 1-0 hole. Following
Andre Etcheverry's first save of the night,
Juan Diego Alfaro fired Montevallo's first shot on goal but was turned aside in the 29
th minute. With just a few seconds left in the half, Etcheverry added a second save to head into the break with UM trailing 1-0.
After another Etcheverry save to open the half, Lincoln Memorial found the back of the net again in the 55
th minute to increase the lead to 2-0. Just 10 minutes later,
Drew Park tallied Montevallo's first goal of the game off a pass from
Lucas Atria to cut the lead in half. In the 79
th minute, LMU put the game out of reach with a third goal to hand Montevallo a 3-1 loss on the road.

GAME NOTES
- The two sides were dead even on shots taken with 13 apiece while LMU held a slim 7-4 lead in shots on goal.
- Both sides were awarded four corner kicks on the night with LMU booked for four cautions while the Falcons received one.
- Drew Park scored the lone goal for UM on one shot in 28 minutes of action while Lucas Atria provided the assist playing all 90 minutes.
