2016... Was named a Silver Scholar on the Peach Belt Conference Presidential Honor Roll... was a recipient of the NCAA Division II Athletics Directors Association (D2ADA) Academic Achievement Award... was named to the Peach Belt Conference All-Academic team... appeared in 17 games and started three contests on the mound for the Falcons during his sophomore season... compiled a 0-3 record with a 5.28 earned run average in 29 innings on the mound... finished with 20 strikeouts and eight walks... recorded a .333 batting average against... finished with a season-high three strikeouts against Augusta, USC Aiken, Columbus State and West Alabama... pitched a season-long five innings in a relief stint against Augusta.

Was named the Peach Belt Conference Freshman of the Week once during the season... was named a Gold Scholar on the Peach Belt Conference Presidential Honor Roll... appeared in 18 games during his freshman season for the Falcons, including five starts... compiled a 2-3 record on the mound with a 4.35 earned run average in 39 1/3 innings... recorded one save... finished with 22 strikeouts and nine walks... posted a .308 batting average against... recorded a career-high six strikeouts in seven innings against Trevecca Nazarene in the longest outing of his career.

High School... Graduated from Southside High School in Gadsden, Ala. in the spring of 2014... finished senior season with a 13-3 record and a 1.23 earned run average in 58 innings on the mound... registered 60 strikeouts... finished with a .357 batting average and eight doubles while driving in 32 runs... was named a first team Alabama High School Athletic Association Class 5A selection following his senior season.

Personal... Is undecided on a major at Montevallo... is the son of Don and Cindy Mullinax... has two sisters, Leah Bryan and Emma Mullinax.
