Was named a Presidential Scholar on the Peach Belt Conference Presidential Honor Roll... was named the Peach Belt Conference Freshman of the Week once... appeared in 14 games and started 12 contests on the mound for the Falcons during his freshman season... compiled a 5-2 record and a 4.82 earned run average in 71 innings on the mound... recorded 44 strikeouts and 30 walks... finished with a .271 batting average against... recorded a career-high six strikeouts against Francis Marion... registered four strikeouts in seven innings in a start against Georgia Southwestern, marking the longest outing of his career.

High School... Graduated from Geneva High School in Geneva, Alabama in the spring of 2015... was named a first team Alabama Sports Writers Association (ASWA) Alabama High School Athletic Association Class 3A All-State selection and the Class 3A Player of the Year following his senior season in 2015... was also selected to the ASWA Super All-State team... finished his senior season with a 9-1 mark on the mound with a 0.49 earned run average... recorded 127 strikeouts in 72 innings on the mound while helping Geneva reach the AHSAA Class 3A semifinals... was also named a first team Class 3A All-State selection following his junior season after being named honorable mention All-State as a sophomore... was named to the Dothan Eagle Super 12 team following his sophomore, junior and senior seasons... helped Geneva High School advance to the AHSAA Class 3A playoffs as a junior... finished his junior season with a 7-3 record on the mound with a 0.96 earned run average and 100 strikeouts... pitched seven complete games, including a pair of one-hitters, and recorded two saves in two opportunities... played on the varsity team since the eighth grade and helped the team reach the playoffs each season... was ranked the No. 4 left-handed pitcher and No. 39 overall in the state of Alabama in the Class of 2015... played summer baseball with the Panhandle Scorpions.
