Graduated from Chelsea High School in Chelsea, Alabama in the spring of 2016... finished his senior season with a 3.05 earned run average and 62 strikeouts in 56 innings on the mound... was named the Pitcher of the Year and an Alabama All-Star following his junior season... led Chelsea in strikeouts and earned run average as a junior.
