Biography

PREVIOUS SCHOOL: Reed competed at Southern Union State Community College in Wadley, Alabama during his freshman and sophomore seasons. Reed appeared in 44 games at Southern Union State during his sophomoreseason and finished with a .300 batting average and drove in 13 runs. Reed drew 19 walks and posted a .408 on base percentage during his sophomore campaign.

HIGH SCHOOL: Reed graduated from Walker High School in Jasper, Alabama in the spring of 2015. Reed lettered three years in baseball and in football at Walker High School.


Personal: John is the son of Mitsy and Greg Reed. He's the sibling of Andrew and James Reed
