Appeared in 44 games and started 38… batted .277… had 38 base hits with ten being for extra bases… drew 23 walks… stole nine bases… named to PBC All-Academic Team… best game was against Northern Kentucky where he went 4-for-6 with an RBI, run scored and a stolen base... received an academic achievement award from the Division II Athletics Directors Association... named a Silver Scholar on the PBC Presidential Honor Roll.

2010... Appeared in 35 games while starting 29… batted .313 on 30 hits, two doubles, three homeruns and 16 RBI while stealing 10 bases (third on the team)… was named a Gold Scholar on the Peach Belt Conference Presidential Honor Roll.

2009... Played in 36 games with 15 starts... had a .250 batting average... scored 12 runs while driving in four... hit one homerun... had a perfect fielding percentage in his 29 opportunities... had a season-high three hits against West Georgia (4/11)... picked up a season-high two RBI against Ouachita Baptist (3/8)... named UM's Most Improved Player.

High School... Competed at Gardendale High School for coach Pat Keedy... named Birmingham New North Player of the Year... North Jefferson News Player of the Year... voted as Mr. GHS... member of the National Honor Society... graduated in the Top 20 in his class.

Personal... Son of Donny and LeAnn Headley... a biochemistry major.
