Competed at Calhoun Community College in Decatur, Alabama during his sophomore season... was named to the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) All-Region 22 team... was also named to the Alabama Community College Conference All-Tournament team as a sophomore... appeared in 59 games... finished with a .391 batting average while driving in 24 runs, scoring 42 runs and stealing 18 bases.

2015... Competed at Calhoun Community College in Decatur, Alabama during his freshman season... appeared in 40 games... finished with a .382 batting average while driving in 18 runs, scoring 21 runs and stealing 18 bases.

High School... Graduated from Southside High School in Gadsden, Alabama in the spring of 2014... helped Southside finish with a 34-10 record and a top-five ranking in the state during his senior season... helped Southside win the area and county championships and a gain berth in the Class 5A state quarterfinals... appeared in 42 games and posted a .424 batting average as a senior... recorded 64 hits, scored 47 runs and drove in 23 runs as a senior while finishing with nine doubles, five triples and two home runs... also finished with 38 stolen bases and a .983 fielding percentage... was named an All-State selection following both his junior and sophomore seasons at Southside.

Personal... Is a Management major at Montevallo... is the son of Scott and Katie Brackett, and has one brother, Evan Kell.
