An alum of Montevallo, Andy Revell returned to the Bricks in August of 2023 after a one-year stint at Miami University (Ohio) in 2022-23.
Revell enters his third season at Montevallo in 2026. In 2025, Revell helped the Falcons to back-to-back 29 win seasons, including four in the Gulf South Conference Tournament. Revell coached a trio of hitters who received All-GSC Second-Team honors in McGwire Turner, Connor Crowson and Evan Radford. Under his coaching, the Falcons had three GSC Freshman of the Week honors and two GSc Player of the Week honors.
In 2024, Revell helped the Falcons to 29 wins, including a pair in the Gulf South Conference Tournament. In addition, Revell coached the Falcon hitters to three GSC weekly award and one regional honor.Â

Revell played at Montevallo in the 2009 and 2010 seasons after transferring from Snead State Community College. In 2011, Revell served as a student assistant under Rose in his first year at the helm. In August of 2011, Revell received a bachelor's degree in Kinesiology,
Throughout his coaching career, Revell has made stops all across the nation and has held stints at three NCAA Division I institutions.

Prior to joining Miami in 2022-23, Revell coached at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida in his second stint from 2018-22. As the Hitting Coordinator, Revell assisted with developing daily offensive programming and implementation of technology. While working as the hitting coordinator he helped develop Elijah Green, a 2022 No. 5 overall pick by the Washington Nationals and James Wood a 2021 No. 62 overall pick by the San Diego Padres.

In 2017, Revell joined the Dartmouth College baseball staff as an assistant for the 2018 season. With the Big Green, he oversaw all infield defensive play and development while also recruiting student-athletes.

Before Dartmouth, Revell began his first stint at IMG Academy from 2015-17 as the Varsity Head Coach.

Revell joined the Xavier University baseball staff for the 2014-15 season as an assistant. With the Musketeers, Revell oversaw infield defensive instruction and development and assisted with hitting instruction and offensive strategy. While working with the hitters, Revel helped coach Big East Freshman of the Year and Louisville Slugger All-American Nate Soria. Â

Additionally, Revell served as the Head Coach of the Licking County Settlers of the Great Lakes Summer Collegiate League from 2012-14 and was General Manager from 2014-15.

The former Falcons also held a graduate assistant position at West Alabama from 2011-13 where he received his masters in Physical Education and also was an assistant at Gulf Coast State College from 2013-14.

Revell joined the UM coaching staff after former Associate Head Coach Franklin Bush was named Head Coach at AUM.
