Ben Chajet enters his first season as the Hitting Coach and Recruiting Coordinator ahead of the 2026 campaign.
Chajet is no stranger to Montevallo Baseball, having worked as the Falcons’ Volunteer Assistant Coach in 2023. Following his time with the Purple and Gold, Chajet spent a pair of seasons in several roles at high school powerhouse IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida.
During the 2023 season, Chajet assisted with the Falcons’ hitting and outfielders while also handling several off-field duties. He helped Montevallo to a 39-16 record, a second-place finish in the Gulf South Conference, and an NCAA Regional appearance in a season that saw the Falcons lead the league in nine offensive categories. The 39 wins marked the highest win total since the 2007 season.
Prior to his time at Montevallo, Chajet served as a summer coach for IMG Academy in 2022, where he primarily worked with pitching, hitting, and infielding. In 2021, he worked as a Mental Performance Coach for the Mizuno Outlaws organization in Tysons, Virginia.
Chajet played his collegiate baseball at Dean College in Franklin, Massachusetts, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 2020. He also completed a Master of Science, Specialization in Sport, Exercise, and Performance Psychology from Barry University in 2022.
