2024 (JUNIOR): O'Connell played in 40 games and started 34 for the Falcons in 2024. In his third year, he batted .313 in 112 at bats including 35 hits, five doubles, a team leading three triples and a career-high seven home runs. O'Connell also set career-high's with 29 RBI, 27 runs scored, 19 walks and five stolen bases. In 2024, he slugged at a .598 rate and had a .424 on base percentage. O'Connell recorded nine multi-hit games, 10 multi-RBI games and had the second longest hitting streak on the team with 11 consecutive. On the mound, he had three relief appearances out of the Falcon bullpen. O'Connell pitched 4.2 innings, struck out five batters and had two scoreless outings.

2023 (SOPHOMORE): Made 11 appearance while starting one game for the Falcons in 2023... pitched 15.1 innings and had a record of 1-1... recorded 11 strikeouts and allowed 10 earned runs and eight walks... had 11 at bats and had two hits while he drove in three RBI.. walked twice and had one stolen base on the season.

2022 (FRESHMAN): Made nine appearances on the mound as a freshman...made three starts and pitched in relief six times...finished with a 3.37 ERA and a 1-0 win/loss record...pitched 10.2 innings on the year and struck out 12 batters...also played in 18 total games and made five starts in the field...had 11 at bats...batted .545 with six hits...drove in four runs...hit one home run...walked twice.
