Was named a Presidential Scholar on the Peach Belt Conference Presidential Honor Roll... appeared in five games for the Falcons and started one contest during his freshman season... recorded one hit during the season against Maryville (Mo.) and finished with a .143 batting average... scored one run against Maryville (Mo.).

High School... Prepped at Hoover High School in Hoover, Ala... helped his team to a 36-12 record his senior season.

Personal... Is a kinesiology major... is the son of Bill and Carol Maxwell... has one sister, Angela... his father, Bill, played collegiate baseball at Birmingham-Southern College.
